Our tours focus on creating once-in-a-lifetime wine excursions for those who are seeking an intensive and fun experience revolving around the wines of Portugal and Madeira.

We have led over 50 wine tours to Portugal and Madeira since September 2005. The greatest testament to the zeal we put into each tour is that our guests keep coming back. Each year we offer fresh and innovative tours (we have NEVER repeated a single itinerary!), providing unforgettable experiences for our first-time guests, as well as offering something new each time for our many repeat clients.

Our unique point of difference is not only the high caliber of wines or educational aspect of these bespoke, week-long explorations but stems from the pride we take in researching a wide range of authentic regional cuisines, top chefs, and restaurants to delight the palates of the most discerning gastronomes.

Our tour sizes are small, normally 10-14 guests, and your hosts, Roy Hersh and Mario Ferreira, are personally involved in designing and guiding each and every tour. They are both members of the Confraria do Vinho do Porto, and Roy is also a member of the Madeira brotherhood too!

Our long-established connections within the Portuguese wine trade enable us to present singular and exclusive insider’s adventures for our guests. We introduce our guests to the esteemed individuals from the wine trade who greet us with a warm welcome and wisdom at every destination. You can expect to meet with the winemakers, owners and/or managing directors of every winery and Port house we visit.

The result is magical.

Our guests stay in upscale accommodations and are treated to some of the greatest vistas, wines, cuisine, and wine trade personalities imaginable.

Our Portuguese wine tours offer an all-inclusive experience. Once you’ve disembarked from the airplane, most other small details will be included as part of your tour. Your only other expenses would be your purchases of gifts or wine to take home as a souvenir of your amazing journey to Portugal, and any mini-bar, room service, laundry or spa treatments that you might want to enjoy. In reality, you probably won’t have to touch your wallet while on tour.
